Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Mining, based in Telangana, India. The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing mining operations, planning mining activities, implementing safety protocols, and managing the budget for mining projects. The Assistant Manager will also collaborate with geology teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and optimize resource extraction to meet production goals. Coordination with various internal and external stakeholders is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering
- Experience in implementing and maintaining Mine Safety standards
- A solid understanding of Budgeting and cost management in mining operations
- Knowledge of Geology and its application in mining processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with mining regulations and industry standards
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role in the mining or granite industry is an advantage
