Role Description

As an Assistant Manager for MICE & Weddings, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE), as well as weddings at the hotel. Key responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand their requirements, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events, and managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships. You will also focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and meeting revenue targets for the business. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Darjeeling.

Qualifications

  • Event Coordination and Management skills, particularly in MICE and weddings
  • Client Relationship Management skills, with the ability to understand and fulfill client needs
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients
  • Budgeting, Planning, and Vendor Management expertise
  • Attention to Detail and Organizational skills for seamless execution of events
  • Knowledge of the hospitality and events industry is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field
  • Flexibility to work on-site at the Darjeeling location and during non-standard hours
