Who we are

The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore's startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity.

NSRCEL's mission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation, among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.

What you will be doing

Mentoring is a function at NSRCEL that ensures over 1000+ founders, annually, get the mentoring support they require through a highly exclusive pool of mentors who come with immense expertise in varied domains. As an Assistant Manager in the Mentoring team you will ensure seamless Mentor & Founder connects while coordinating with the Program teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of Virtual Assistants to schedule, track & monitor mentoring connects
  • Implement & execute processes to ensure less than 1% no-shows from founders & mentors
  • Ensure mentoring slots are blocked at least 72 hours in advance
  • Improve feedback percentage post mentoring sessions
  • Be the PoC for process integrity across VAs, Program Teams, Mentors & Founders
  • Design & implement processes that are agile to accommodate outlier cases
  • Ensure process optimization to deliver the best possible Mentor & Founder experience
  • Ongoing reporting & insights on various mentoring interventions.
  • Provide continuous feedback to optimize tools & software for seamless process
  • Tracking & Managing Mentor agreements , id etc. & expiry

Requirements

  • Have an undergraduate degree with 3+ years experience or postgraduate degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Some experience working with varied stakeholders.
  • Process tracking, coordinating & management
  • Conflict resolution
  • Good communication skills & high accountability
  • Comfortable with managing data & tools like excel
