JOB DESCRIPTION

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Neuroscience will serve as a field-based scientific expert, responsible for building and maintaining peer-level relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), supporting new product launches, and delivering impactful scientific education aligned with the company's medical strategy. This individual will ensure ethical, evidence-based engagement to advance Neuroscience care and contribute to medical and commercial alignment across regions.

Essential Functions

  • Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement

Establish and nurture scientific relationships with KOLs in Neuroscience.

Deliver compliant, accurate, and impactful medical and scientific discussions.

Serve as a therapeutic area expert across Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraine.

  • Launch & Medical Education Support

Support medical launch readiness and post-launch activities for Neuroscience assets.

Conduct and facilitate CMEs, advisory boards, and regional scientific meetings.

Provide clinical updates and education to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Insight Generation

Gather and communicate relevant clinical and competitive insights from the field.

Contribute to shaping medical strategies through data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaboration & Internal Alignment

Partner with cross-functional teamsMedical, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance.

Participate in strategic territory planning and ensure medical-marketing alignment.

  • Compliance & Ethical Practice

Ensure adherence to company SOPs, industry regulations, and ethical codes.

Promptly report adverse events and product-related information as per guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in national and international scientific conferences.

Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and local data generation initiatives.

Contribute to internal scientific training programs.

Qualifications

Education: BDS/MBBS/PharmD/MSc/PhD in Life Sciences or Clinical Research.

Experience

12 years of experience in Medical Affairs or as an MSL (preferably in Neuroscience or Specialty Care).

Prior exposure to product launches and targeted therapy support (Parkinson's disease preferred).

Skills & Competencies

Strong clinical and scientific understanding of Neuroscience and the Indian healthcare ecosystem.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to interpret, synthesize, and present complex scientific data effectively.

Strategic mindset with agility in execution.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and virtual engagement tools.
