Job Description

  • Supervise and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment
  • Ensure timely maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, compressors, blowers, and other rotating equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and carry out root cause analysis of recurring mechanical issues
  • Coordinate with production and utility departments to schedule maintenance with minimal downtime
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance schedules, work orders, and spare part usage
  • Ensure availability and inventory control of critical mechanical spares
  • Support implementation of mechanical improvement projects and modifications
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure maintenance activities comply with statutory and company safety norms
  • Guide and supervise technicians and maintenance staff to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and equipment repairs
