We are hiring an Assistant Manager Mechanical Lab for a leading analytical and testing laboratory. The role involves technical leadership of mechanical and metallurgical testing activities along with ensuring compliance to ISO / IEC 17025 Quality Management System requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, perform and evaluate mechanical metallurgical tests
- Ensure use of appropriate and validated test methods
- Review test results, prepare reports and ensure timely delivery to customers
- Lead method development, modification and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17043 ISO 17034
- Maintain laboratory environmental and safety conditions
- Manage inventory, consumables and supplier approvals
- Implement corrective preventive actions
- Support machine shop activities related to testing
- Identify training needs of lab personnel
