Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide daily mixing operations of Banbury Machine.
- Ensure batch mixing and recipes are followed with precision in mixing area.
- Monitor mixer parameters and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve issues related to mixing and physical lab.
- Train and develop team, building a high-performance team
- Maintain safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards
- Identifies root causes of quality or process issues in mixing of various natural and synthetic rubber with silica and carbon black fillers.
- Suggests improvements for efficiency and consistency of rubber compound mixed in different mixers.
- Computer literacy for MES/SCADA operations.
Skills & Qualification
- Education in B Tech or Equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Polymer/Rubber Technology
- 5+ years in mixing (tire industry preferred), Exposure to rubber processing (Testing of Compounds, Extrusion & Calendaring).
- 3+ years in a supervisory position
- Strong knowledge of Banbury/Intermix operations
- Prior exposure to exposure to Silica Mixing.
- Ability to analyze batch data and improve process consistency
