About the role:

Drive the marketing communication and digital marketing initiatives for Godrej Chemicals, enhancing brand visibility, engaging target audiences, and supporting business growth through comprehensive marketing communication initiatives, strategic content creation, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all marketing communication initiatives for the chemicals business, organize and manage various events, including product launches, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms like LinkedIn, Google Ads, and industry-specific channels to improve online visibility and lead generation.
  • Oversee content scheduling and social media management to maintain consistent brand presence.
  • Maintain, update, and optimize the company website to ensure it reflects current marketing campaigns, product offerings, and is optimized for user experience and SEO.
  • Track and manage leads generated from all marketing efforts, ensuring timely follow-up, nurturing, and handover to the sales team. Analyze lead quality and conversion rates to refine strategies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality content for marketing campaigns, sales materials, pre-sales support, emailers, newsletters, datasheets, proposal templates, brochures, success stories, technical presentations, and case studies.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory standards, effectively communicating complex technical information.
  • Conduct market research studies to review and refine marketing plans and product campaigns.
  • Develop and execute marketing communication plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and brand strategy.
  • Design engaging graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, flyers, banners, infographics, and social media visuals.
  • Continuously interact with sales teams and customers to stay attuned to market competition and industry trends.

Technological Proficiency:

  • Proficient with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, design tools (Example - Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva), and digital marketing tools (Example Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, Hootsuite).

Performance Metrics:

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and emerging industry trends.

Critical Skills:

  • Proven expertise in digital marketing, Marketing communications, content creation, and graphic design, with experience in the B2B chemicals sector preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey technical information effectively.
  • Innovative thinker with strong project management and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
