About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage Internal Financial Controls (IFC), process reviews, compliance assessment, and audit coordination across ABFRL and its subsidiaries. The role works closely with internal teams and external auditors to strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
- Execute IFC testing and remediation as per schedule.
- Prepare/update RACMs and maintain working papers.
- Track internal control gaps and follow up with process owners for closure.
Process Reviews & Audits
- Plan and conduct endtoend process reviews across functions.
- Develop/update audit checklists and ensure complete scope coverage.
- Coordinate with process owners and external audit agencies.
- Review audit reports, discuss findings, and ensure timely closure with action plans.
Followup on Past Audit Issues
- Track open audit points and ensure closure within agreed timelines.
- Validate closure of gaps with supporting evidence.
Adhoc / Special Reviews
- Finalize review scope with stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and perform data analytics to identify control/system gaps.
- Present findings and obtain action plans with defined timelines.
- Release quarterly vendor & customer master scorecards.
Whistle Blower Investigations
- Investigate complaints and perform databased fact verification.
- Present findings and maintain a tracker of all cases and outcomes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IFC, internal controls & audit frameworks
- Excellent analytical & data interpretation skills
- Strong stakeholder management across HO, zonal & store teams
- Good communication & report writing
- Ability to work with external audit partners
- High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-location organizations is an advantage
- Strong grounding in process controls and risk assessment
