Position Overview
Ensure
high uptime and efficiency of heat exchanger line machinery through effective
preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and continuous improvement, supporting uninterrupted production.
ROLE
- Preventive Maintenance
- Execute PM schedules for heat exchanger line equipment (Fin Press, Hairpin Bender, Expander, Brazing & Leak Testing)
- Develop PM checklists, SOPs, and procedures
- Ensure PM compliance to reduce downtime
- Apply predictive maintenance techniques where applicable
- Breakdown Maintenance
- Attend breakdowns promptly and restore operations quickly
- Perform RCA and implement corrective actions
- Maintain optimal MTTR and machine reliability
- Ensure availability of critical spares
- Line Management
- Ensure smooth running of heat exchanger line
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Track KPIs: MTBF, uptime, breakdown frequency
- Optimize performance for productivity and quality
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive TPM, Kaizen, Lean initiatives
- Implement cost and energy-saving measures
- Support process improvements and line balancing
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety and statutory standards
- Follow LOTO procedures
- Participate in audits and risk assessments
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of PM, breakdowns, and spares
- Prepare maintenance MIS reports
- Support audit requirements
- Team Coordination
- Supervise technicians and contract manpower
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering
- Liaise with OEMs/vendors
- Train operators on basic maintenance practices
