Role Summary

Assistant Manager – Lifesciences, Centre for Lifesciences – Bio E-Hub will support life science startups through hands-on R&D, laboratory operations, technology development, validation, cell culture, molecular biology, bioprocessing, and industry-academia collaborations, fostering innovation and technology translation.

Key Responsibilities

·      Support life science startups in R&D activities, technology validation, and prototype development.

·      Manage laboratory facilities, equipment, and research resources while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

·      Conduct technical training programs and facilitate collaborative R&D initiatives with academia and industry partners.

Key Skills

·      Basics understanding in molecular biology, cell culture, microbiology, bioprocessing, and related life science technologies.

• Strong experience in experimental design, technology validation, and prototype development.
• Proficiency in laboratory operations, equipment handling, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to support technology development, scale-up, and translational research projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with startups, researchers, academia, and industry partners.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's / PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in life sciences research, biotechnology R&D, laboratory operations, or product development.
