Assistant Manager Legal

Responsibilities

• Drafting and Vetting of legal documents
• Interfacing with different departments of the company (In house legal support).
• Representing Company at Arbitration and Court
• Maintaining Legal Database
• Providing Legal Opinion on operation, management, employment, compliance related issues.
• Standardizing Service Agreements (Software License, Marketing, Consultancy, Employment, Transport, Supply, Professional Services, Recruitment, Advertising, Security, House Keeping, Hotel Agreements etc.)
• Drafting responses to Notices and compliances to Statutory Authorities.
• Conducting legal research and providing legal opinion on various compliance, statutory, employment and operational issues.
• Guiding, overseeing and assisting in litigations and drafting of pleadings.
• Candidate must be perfect in different areas. We typically need combination of a) Corporate - drafting & vetting of Contracts / Agreements
• & litigation - sending notices, replies, Arbitration, Civil suit.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A Degree in Law with 4-7 years of experience and a good grasp of laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills required.
• Must exercise sound judgment, be able to work independently and efficiently under time pressures and deadlines.
• Be adept at providing legal solutions and be known for his / her ability to negotiate
• Should have strong project management skills and be professional, proactive and enthusiastic.
