Qualification
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university
Experience
- 610 years of total legal experience (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on court experience(mandatory)
- Minimum 4 years of corporate legal experience(mandatory)
- Prior experience in the retail industry(mandatory)
- Strong experience in property-related legal agreements(mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle property legal matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating:
- Lease deeds
- Leave & License agreements
- Sale deeds, MOUs, amendments, and renewals
- Manage litigation and court matters, including coordination with external counsels, case tracking, filings, and follow-ups
- Provide legal advisory support to business teams on day-to-day corporate and operational matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and commercial agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal legal policies
- Support regional legal requirements and act as a legal SPOC for internal stakeholders
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation for property and retail operations
Mandatory Skill Set
- Strong knowledge of property laws and real estate documentation
- Experience handling both corporate legal work and court matters
- Exposure to retail industry legal operations
- Ability to work closely with business, finance, and operations teams
- Good drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

- Experience in fashion or lifestyle retail
- Strong mix of corporate and litigation exposure
- Prior experience supporting regional or multi-location retail operations
