Job Title: Assistant Manager - Legal Administration
About the role: (TE)
- Support with the drafting, negotiation of legal contracts, notices and maintenance of legal templates, legal clause libraries, and internal playbooks - capturing learnings from negotiations and legal / sector developments
- Track contracts through intake, review, approval, execution, and storage using contract lifecycle management (CLM) process and tools, ensuring version control and audit-ready records
- Log and oversee contract variations, change requests and claims, ensuring they are resolved efficiently
- Support IP administration including tracking ownership, licences, and filings, maintaining required documentation, and coordinating with counsel and internal teams on instructions, deadlines, and submissions.
- Maintain IP registers, contract repositories, and legal records, including ensuring completeness, version control, and audit-ready filing (e.g., executed agreements, notices, approvals, and supporting documentation)
- Support in litigation matter tracking & corresponding management of the litigation tool including cost management
- Provide guidance to external counsel and managing documentation including invoice review and handling
- Provide day-to-day support to the legal team, including triaging requests, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Handle general legal administration to ensure processes run smoothly, including invoice processing for external counsel and costs tracking - maintaining organised, searchable records.
EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree; LLB; (LLM or diploma is IPR is preferred) with 1-3 years PQE
- Experience with managing IPR and litigation workflows
- Working knowledge of IP laws, legal drafting of contracts & notices
- Prior working experience in law firms or in-house IP departments of multinational companies is a plus
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and DocuSign
Strong experience with ProVakil, Anaqua & allied docketing, tracking & compliance tools
