Major responsibilities: (As a Zonal Business Development Head Agri & Domestic segment)
- Responsible for independently achieving the South zone order Intake and sales Target for Agri & Domestic segments along with state level teams and Branch heads.
- Responsible for Independently achieving Tamil nadu Branch order Intake and sales Target for Agri & Domestic segments
- Lead a team of Sales Engineers and ASRs in the state.
- Focus on appointment of new dealers and nurturing existing Dealers and Dealer personnel and promote business
- Travelling to respective to states to meet the dealers, distributors, retailers to push to business volumes along with local sales staff
- Finalize the yearly order intake targets for all dealers and monitor their performance on daily / weekly basis
- Identify potential dealer to replace ineffective dealers and develop untapped areas.
- Establish retail pricing to sub-dealers and mechanics.
- Implement effective advertisement campaign and Sales promotion activity including exhibitions, mechanic meets, retailer meets for South zone
- Responsible for Spares and Service business for Agri and Domestic segment with the help of dedicated team and also facilitate warranty resolution with the help of ASC/Service coordinator
- To ensure appointment of ASCs for effective after sales support and impart training to them
- To intervene and resolve issues pertaining to order execution as and when required
- Ensure proper documentation with respect to dealer targets, MOUs, Agreements and extension letters
- Monthly / weekly / daily MIS for tracking the performance and ensure accurate indenting and forecasting for complete South zone.
- Ensure proper approvals of project pricing and FOC approval.
- Will be responsible for conducting market survey and business development activities for Direct business
- Ensure all the ISO processes, agreements and instructions are adhered with respect to C4C & Indenting
Requirement Profile
Formal education: B.E. Mechanical / B.E. Electrical
Professional experience: 15-17 Years in Pump industry, and specifically in Agri and Domestic, Submersible pumps market in South India.
Defined Competencies
- Knowledge of pumps is must
- Proficiency in Dealer management
- Knowledge of Agri and Domestic market is must
- Handling and motivating the team for achieving the challenging Target
- Aggressive and Risk taker to achieve given target
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of MS-Office 2007
Knowledge of all South Indian languages is preferred
