Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Tiruvallur, focusing on day-to-day supervision of operational activities within the automotive environment. The Assistant Manager oversees team performance, monitors production or service workflows, and ensures adherence to company standards, safety guidelines, and quality targets. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing schedules, resolving operational issues, and reporting key metrics to senior management. The Assistant Manager also supports process improvements, staff training, and implementation of company policies to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Ability to supervise daily operations, coordinate team activities, and manage workflows in a manufacturing or automotive setting.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and meeting production or service targets.
  • Competence in monitoring quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and addressing employee or stakeholder concerns.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify operational issues, interpret data, and implement practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with manufacturing or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, business administration, or a related field; prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and willingness to work on-site in Tiruvallur with a hands-on approach to operations and team support.
