Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

Role & responsibilities :

Fresher with Article ship experience in Risk &Audit firm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing risk assessment identifying mitigating controls performing test of design efficiency and test of operating effectiveness for the processes assigned
• Meet timelines for the deliverables
• Reviewing the work of staff for assigned process
• Knowledge of accounting standards, preferably US GAAP and its application interpretation.
• Maintain deficiency tracker and discuss the same with the process owners on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for ensuring that any changes to policies procedures applications for the allocated processes are assessed for risk and pragmatic controls are recommended and implemented.
• Liaise with external auditors to co-ordinate and discuss audit assignments issues and audit observations

• ability to deal with people in different levels including senior management.
• Conversant with risk-based audit approach and conducting risk assessments
• Good presentation and report writing skills
• Command over MS Excel Word and Power Point
