Job Description

Assistant Manager, Integrated Services for Child Development (ISCD)

The Assistant Manager supports the effective day-to-day operations of the Hub and programmes delivery, which provides a comprehensive range of intervention programmes and services for children aged 5 to 12 years enrolled in mainstream schools.

This role involves staff supervision, programme oversight, administrative responsibilities, and operational support to ensure smooth service delivery and positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision & Programme Support

  • Update the Manager on clients progress and developmental outcomes
  • Supervise staff in their collaboration with Psychological Services and schools SEN Officers (SEN-O) on case management
  • Oversee and support Kids Club programmes
  • Mentor and support newer teachers in their professional development
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Operations & Administration

  • Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operation
  • Manage and coordinate class schedules
  • Co-manage enrolment
  • Manage placement screening processes
  • Assist in risk management, and business continuity
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programmes and activities
  • Contribute to reporting requirements for Senior Management and Funders
  • Handle students administrative matters, and documentation

Job Requirements & Competencies

  • Willingness to work on weekday evenings and Saturdays (40-hour work week)
  • Sound theoretical understanding of child development
  • Experience working with children with diverse developmental profiles
  • Preferably trained in the Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach
  • Some experience in supervising and managing a diverse staff team
  • Passionate about supporting children with learning needs
  • Good command of English bilingual abilities preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to collaborate with corporate partners, schools, and hospitals

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, or Special Needs Education or management-related discipline
  • One to two years of experience in leading or co-leading a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills

  • Work Location: Jurong West
  • Attractive remuneration package comprising fixed salary and variable bonuses
  • Allowances will be given for work on weekday evenings and Saturdays
