Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Assistant Manager with expertise in
indirect spend categories to join our Analytics Solution team. The person will be responsible for overseeing projects related inflation forecasting for indirect categories along with custom client requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. They will work closely with the client's procurement and finance teams, and Beroe's internal teams to ensure smooth implementations and drive superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Category & Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of indirect spend categories such as IT services, Professional Services, HR Services, Marketing, Facilities Management, MRO etc.
- Strong knowledge of category cost structures, key price drivers, supplier market dynamics, utilization and overhead drivers, and global economic factors impacting category
- Expertise in forecasting inflation, cost simulations, scenario modelling, and interpreting procurement specific econometric inputs.
- Ability to work with category taxonomies, supplier segmentation, benchmark data, and spend structures to support accurate category-level inflation and forecasting insights
- Apply category knowledge to contextualize forecasts, identify risks, and recommend sourcing or negotiation strategies
- Understanding of risks unique to indirect categoriesincluding supplier dependency, service continuity, regulatory compliance, data/IP protection, and reputational risk.
Forecasting & Analytics
- Ability to build and interpret forecasting models, scenario and sensitivity analyses, utilization-based projections, and cost-to-serve models
- Analyze category inflation and spend trends to identify risks, cost drivers, productivity opportunities, and actionable negotiation levers
- Integrate benchmark data, market intelligence, and supplier performance insights to guide client strategy
Project Delivery
- Own endtoend project deliveryfrom requirement gathering to execution, review, and closure
- Ensure timely coordination with internal teams (research, modeling, visualization, data operations) to deliver highquality outputs
- Lead development of custom dashboards, reports, and forecasting tools to meet unique client needs
- Manage project plans, timelines, resource alignment, and quality checks to ensure smooth delivery
Quality And Insights
- Identify and implement tools, frameworks, and models to enhance forecast accuracy
- Proactively suggest value-added services and enhancements based on client needs and market developments
- Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking to bring fresh perspectives to client challenges
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between client teams and Beroe for smooth implementations, governance, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure the success of the implementations
- Develop roadmap and work plan for delivery and facilitate client meetings, presentations, and workshops with clients
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of total experience, with 3+ years of experience in project/program management
- Strong command of indirect procurement frameworks, budgeting methodologies, cost modeling, and financial/market analysis
- Hands-on experience with ERPs/procurement tools and data visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
