Assistant Manager Human Resources

We're hiring an Assistant HR Manager to build the people function as Pasban opens its first properties.

Pasban — The Gatekeeper is the next chapter from Akhil Anand, who scaled Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels into one of India's most respected boutique hospitality brands (eighteen destinations across the country). We're at the stage where HR stops being paperwork and starts being the thing that decides how fast we can grow.

What you'll own

- End-to-end recruitment across head office and properties — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer rollout

- Onboarding and induction, so every new joinee starts with clarity on role, culture and expectations

- Attendance, leave and payroll inputs, with clean coordination with accounts for monthly processing

- HR documentation — offer letters, appointment letters, contracts, personnel files, exit formalities

- Statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, gratuity, Shops & Establishment, and labour law filings

- Employee engagement, grievance handling and performance review cycles

- HR MIS the founder can act on: headcount, attrition, cost per hire, manpower planning

Who we're looking for

- 3–5 years in HR generalist or HR operations, ideally with hospitality, F&B or multi-location exposure

- Hands-on with recruitment — you have closed roles yourself, not just scheduled interviews

- Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance

- Strong Excel and comfort with any HRMS; clear written and spoken English and Hindi

- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent depth of practical experience

- Warm with people, firm on process

- Salary of ₹40,000–₹45,000 per month
