About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – HR to support and drive core human resource functions. This role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, and contributing to a positive and high-performance work culture. The ideal candidate should be capable of balancing operational efficiency with employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordination, and onboarding.
- Oversee employee onboarding and exit processes ensuring smooth transitions.
- Handle HR operations such as payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievance resolution.
- Support performance management processes including appraisals and feedback cycles.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture programs.
- Collaborate with leadership on HR strategies and organizational development.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Exposure to HRMS tools and payroll systems.
- Experience in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Basic understanding of HR analytics and reporting.
- Certification in HR or related domains.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
