Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and people-centric Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support business leaders in driving a high-performance, engaged, and inclusive workforce. This role will act as a strategic partner to business units, aligning HR practices with organizational objectives while championing Firstsource's EVP: empowering people, enabling growth, fostering innovation, and delivering meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand talent priorities and deliver HR solutions aligned with business strategy
  • Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends, productivity, attrition, and engagement
  • Support organizational design and workforce planning

2. Employee Experience & Engagement (EVP Focus)

  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience across the lifecycle (hire-to-retire)
  • Champion a people-first culture by promoting inclusivity, well-being, and recognition programs
  • Actively listen to employee feedback and implement engagement strategies aligned with EVP

3. Performance & Development

  • Drive performance management processes, ensuring goal alignment and fair evaluation
  • Support leadership development, capability building, and succession planning
  • Promote a continuous learning culture aligned with career growth aspirations

4. Talent Development

  • Collaborate with LMD to design learning to align with business needs
  • Identify skill gaps and support capability-building initiatives

5. Employee Relations & Governance

  • Manage employee relations issues with fairness, empathy, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and ethical standards
  • Support investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes

6. Change Management & Transformation

  • Act as a change champion during organizational transformations
  • Support communication and adoption of new initiatives, tools, and practices
  • Enable a culture of innovation and agility

7. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key HR metrics (attrition, retention, engagement scores, diversity metrics)
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve workforce outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 5–8 years of experience in HRBP or generalist roles (preferably in BPM/ITES/Services industry)
  • Experience managing frontline/operations-driven workforce is an advantage
  • Comfortable to work in Shifts – Night Shifts preferred (US window)
