Job Title: Assistant Manager- Human Resources

Shift Timings: 3pm to 12am

Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is responsible for supporting and strengthening core HR functions across the organization. Designed for professionals with 3–5 years of hands-on HR experience, this role plays a key part in employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration. The position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, effective stakeholder communication, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to managing people and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations

  • Partner with Operations Managers and support teams to understand business needs and align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees, team leaders, and managers on policies, processes, performance, and employee relations
  • Address employee concerns and conflicts, coaching managers on resolution approaches while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Drive performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, reward & recognition, and development conversations
  • Manage attrition control initiatives, conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions
  • Track and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and engagement; provide actionable insights to business leaders
  • Partner with managers on employee engagement, retention strategies, internal mobility, and career progression initiatives
  • Support change management, HR projects, and organization-wide HR initiatives within the assigned geography

2. Onboarding

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to support manpower planning and business hiring requirements
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, enabling smooth integration into the organization

3. Performance Management

  • Support the administration of performance management systems including appraisals, goal alignment, and feedback cycles
  • Coach and guide managers on performance issues and employee development plans

4. Training & Development

  • Assist in identifying training needs and skill gaps across teams
  • Support the design and delivery of learning initiatives, workshops, and development programs

5. HR Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee records, HR systems, benefits administration, and payroll coordination
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of HR documentation and transactions
  • Manage HR tools and systems to ensure optimal utilization and data integrity

6. HR Projects

  • Contribute to HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs, policy enhancements, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects as required

7. Attrition Management, HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Identify early warning signals and conduct RAG analysis to proactively manage attrition
  • Leverage HR analytics to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership
  • Prepare and present regular HR dashboards and reports covering operational and strategic HR metrics
