Assistant Manager - HSE

GMM Pfaudler Ltd is hiring for Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - HSE (Health Safety & Environment) to be based in Karamsad, Anand location.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, and evaluation practices and facilities to ensure compliance with legal guidelines.

Implementation of Safety norms as per permission condition and to ensure safe at plant.

Review and update procedures and policies, as necessary, to reflect current operations and regulatory compliance

Monitor compliance with procedure and policies by observing employee operation to promote a culture of health and safety

Plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, injury prevention, fire prevention and correct handling techniques for equipment /job

Developing and implementing British Five Star safety system and procedures

Create culture of Safety for our people by maintaining the company's Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedure in compliance with local, state, National and International standard like OSHA

Maintain and develop standard ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and its audit and compliance

Organization Monthly Safety review meeting, Monthly business review meeting and MIS data for ESG review meeting

Complete all accident/injury /incident reporting and performs investigation to determine cause and possible preventive measure, makes corrective action recommendations to upper management concerning safety, health and environment issues

Lesioning and submission of compliance to State rules, Act, and other EHS legal requirements

Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the company HSE system

Inspect company facilities and site to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventive measures were indicated and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Contributing to achieve organization sustainability and goals

Prepare the data for ESG requirements

Coordinate and execute EHS elements of the customers/project

requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety and environmental

Science or a related field, Diploma in Industrial Safety

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 45001:2018

British Five Star Rating

HSE management system implementation

Preferred Experience
