Job Description

Next Step HR is hiring for a leading international media conglomerate specializing in influencer marketing, branded content, and digital storytelling solutions. The organization partners with global brands and creators to deliver high-impact campaigns across platforms and geographies.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic HR professional from a media background who can own recruitment end-to-end while also managing core HR operations and compliance.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, understands media hiring nuances, and can balance execution with ownership.

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to onboarding)

Hire for roles across:

  • Influencer marketing
  • Content & creative teams
  • Digital/media sales
  • Production & strategy roles

Build strong pipelines via:

  • LinkedIn hiring
  • Industry networks
  • Media-specific talent pools
  • Partner with hiring managers for quick turnaround hiring
  • Drive employer branding for media talent attraction

2. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage employee lifecycle (onboarding to exit)
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, payroll coordination, labor laws)
  • Maintain HR documentation, policies, and audits
  • Handle contracts, offer letters, and HRMIS

3. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive engagement initiatives aligned with creative teams
  • Support performance management cycles
  • Act as a bridge between leadership and employees

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business heads and founders
  • Support international HR coordination where required
  • Provide HR insights for workforce planning

Key Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of HR experience
  • Strong recruitment experience (non-negotiable)
  • Prior experience in:Media / Advertising / Digital / Influencer Marketing industry
  • Exposure to compliance and HR operations
  • Ability to manage hiring in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment

Good to Have:

  • Experience in hiring for creative & digital roles
  • Understanding of influencer ecosystem / creator economy
  • Exposure to international teams or markets
