Role Description The Assistant Manager - HR & Admin is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance and leave management, and supporting performance management activities. The position also includes managing administrative functions such as office facilities, vendor coordination, basic procurement, and ensuring adherence to company policies and statutory requirements. The Assistant Manager - HR & Admin will support employee engagement initiatives, help resolve routine employee queries, and maintain accurate HR and administrative records. The role requires close collaboration with department heads and senior management to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of core HR operations, including recruitment support, onboarding, HR documentation, attendance, and leave management.
  • Experience in office administration, vendor coordination, facilities management, and basic procurement or logistics.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliance relevant to an on-site office environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and HRIS or HR management systems for record keeping and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR or administration certifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or senior HR & Admin role, preferably in a technology or services environment.
