The Hyperautomation Platform team is a critical part of Unilever's digital transformation journey, enabling the delivery of innovative solutions that drive efficiency, agility, and scalability across the organization. As an Assistant Manager in Consumer Product Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering hyperautomation solutions that enhance consumer product processes and operations.

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to get tasks prioritized with vendor resources and get them to collaborate in a multi-vendor setup and ensure timely quality delivery, help other team members as per skillset, take people development initiatives, should have budget and spends oversight, engage with Finance to ensure optimal utilization, manage stakeholder expectations, secure additional project funding as required, and ensure KPI delivery.
This role acts as a strategic advisor and single point of contact for automation initiatives, driving innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
The Assistant Manager - Consumer Product Delivery - Hyperautomation Platform will be responsible for:
Collaboration with vendor partners and Product/CDIO teams to deliver hyperautomation solutions to optimize consumer product delivery processes..
Serve as POC for coordinating with Solution Architecture, Delivery, Service Assurance etc to provide holistic support to Product/CDIO partners
Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects, from ideation to deployment..
Ensuring compliance with Unilever's standards and policies..
Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the hyperautomation platform..
Functional knowledge in Consumer Marketing is preferred to effectively identify opportunities & influence decision-making
Proactively assess and promote automation products engage with vendors and product partners to explore new capabilities (e.g., Agentic AI, Generative AI) and evangelize these innovations with stakeholders
Manage expectations, co-create roadmaps, and facilitate alignment across multiple functions
Challenge existing practices to unlock productivity gains and operational efficiencies.
Key Deliverables
:
Ensure successful delivery of hyperautomation projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within consumer product delivery.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the hyperautomation platform.
Collaborate with teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that deliver tangible business benefits.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in hyperautomation to drive innovation.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Unilever to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and support on automation initiatives.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Foster collaboration and alignment between stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of automation initiatives.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with Unilever's standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for all projects and initiatives.
Support audits and reviews as required.
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements in all automation initiatives.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation technologies and consumer product delivery processes.
Strong understanding of hyperautomation tools and platforms, including RPA, AI, and machine learning.
Proven experience in managing and delivering automation projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
General understanding of Cloud & AI.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Experience in cloud computing and digital innovation.
Familiarity with SAP solutions and integration with automation platforms.
Exposure to vendor management and collaboration.
