Assistant manager

The hire will be responsible for working on technical related initiatives centered around a Microsoft Dynamics 365 application, which will include implementing commonly requested changes within Dynamics 365, assisting with the integration of the Dynamics 365 app with other applications within the firm, and preparing key data to be used in reports and dashboards used by members of the firm at all levels.

High level expertise in administering, configuring, and customizing Dynamics 365 environments, including:

• Prepare and deploy unmanaged solutions across environments
• Create and configure custom tables, fields, forms, views, relationships, business rules, charts, and dashboards
• Configure model-driven apps, sitemaps, and duplicate detection rules
• Develop complex HTML, CSS, JScript, and XML web resources
• Utilize and edit FetchXML, Web API, REST, and OData to query data from Dataverse
• Perform QA, execute UAT scripts, and fix defects
• Manage user-level security through security roles, field security profiles, teams, and business units
• Build out-of-the-box processes (workflows, actions, business process flows)
• Familiarity with using tools available in the XrmToolBox
• Collaborate with Microsoft Support, team members, and end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Pull and review audit history to understand how changes occurred

Experienced with the Power Platform:

• Power BI: Create reports and dashboards with various data sources, publish to the web service, and manage user access with sharing and row-level security
• PowerApps: Build both standalone and embedded canvas apps interacting with Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, and other apps
• Power Automate: Create scheduled, instant, and automated flows across different platforms

Proficient with SQL Server:

• Create user-defined and temp tables via SQL
• Create and update simple to complex views
• Optimize queries by managing indexes
• Create and execute stored procedures and functions

Additional Skills & Strengths:

• High aptitude for learning and solving problems independently or in a team
• General knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros)

Nice to Have:

• C# for Dynamics 365 plugin development or experience with another object-oriented programming language
• Experience with ETL tools
• Ability to create SSRS-based reports
• Create technical documentation
• Track issues using Azure DevOps
• Use Visio or similar tool to create data flow diagrams
• Use Postman for API calls
• Use GitHub for version control
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook, Databricks, or similar tools
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
