- In-Process Quality & CAPA: Monitor forge-floor rejection trends (dimensional/metallurgical defects) and initiate swift containment and CAPA (8D, 5-Why) for major line issues.
- Customer Complaint Support: Investigate complaints traced to the forge shop and implement foolproof corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- QMS & Audits: Drive IATF 16949 compliance on the floor through regular process and product audits.
- Change Management: Serve as the QA gatekeeper for forging process, tooling, or material changes, ensuring clear clean points and traceability.
- Manpower Planning: Manage monthly shift-wise budgeting and allocation for line inspectors to ensure total floor coverage.
