The purpose of this role is to perform and support the higher risk standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter and year-end as well as supervise the execution of lower risk activities.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Manage timely and accurate month quarter end close process for Canada market in partnership with the various clusters market Finance teams. Various activities supported reviewed as part of the Month end close are Intercompany, Payroll, Accruals, Fixed Assets, BPC reporting, Finance cube, Year end pack, IFRS15, IFRS16 etc.
- Drive monthly variance analysis vs Actuals and Forecast at Regional level, monitoring of the aged balances and provide detailed review commentaries in NWC dashboard.
- Approve the BS reconciliations including partnering with various market teams to drive quality as per the policy requirement
- Identify CI Automation opportunities and process improvement opportunities and lead the implementation.
- Partner with Region Controllership team in driving and improving the overall control environment.
- Support on Adhoc request from various streams - KPMG, GFRA, FCAT Regional team.
- Being proactive, willing to step up to embrace additional task, excellent time management conflict management skills and self-driven
Professional Skills And Qualifications
- CA/CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Controllership activity.
- Experience in Blackline, D365 will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of IFRS / SOX
Skills: Us Gaap, Financial Reporting
Experience: 5.00-11.00 Years
