About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager - Financial Analysis to support one of our Divisional team with a primary focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions. This role works directly with the Finance Leadership to deliver strategic financial insights, business intelligence, and comprehensive analytical support for the account. The Assistant Manager will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, variance analysis, and financial modeling while ensuring timely delivery of actionable financial insights for the Division, Account Management team and JLL Corporate Finance Team. What this job involves:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead annual budget planning processes, rolling forecasts, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support business decision-making and scenario planning
- Conduct comprehensive variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations with forward-looking commentary, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations
- Analyze business performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Create and enhance financial dashboards and automated reporting tools to improve analytical capabilities
- Perform deep-dive analysis on revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability drivers across different business segments
- Support strategic initiatives through detailed financial impact assessments and ROI analysis
- Develop ad-hoc analytical reports to support management decision-making and client presentations
Strategic Financial Support:
- Partner with Operations, Business Heads, and Facility Managers to provide financial insights that drive business strategy
- Support month-end close activities with focus on analytical review and performance commentary rather than transactional processing
- Monitor and analyze contract performance against financial targets, identifying risks and opportunities
- Assist in developing financial policies and procedures related to FP&A functions
Collaboration & Communication:
- Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior management and client stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business intelligence and validate analytical assumptions
- Support revenue recognition analysis ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
- Participate in quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions
Systems & Process Improvement:
- Work toward developing advanced expertise in financial planning software and analytical tools
- Support implementation of process improvements to enhance FP&A capabilities and efficiency
- Participate in special projects focused on financial analysis and strategic initiatives
Sounds like you To apply you need:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
- Professional certification (MBA or working toward CFA or CA) strongly preferred
- 6+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, preferably in a large company environment
- Knowledge of US GAAP with focus on analytical applications
- Proficiency in Excel including advanced modeling, pivot tables, and financial functions
- Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems
- Strong project & time management skills with willingness to learn and adapt
- Developing leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through financial analysis
- Strategic thinking ability to connect financial analysis to business outcomes and recommendations
