We are hiring for the post of a Assistant Manager into Financial Accounting and Controls for an Indian multinational technology company that provides IT services, consulting, and business process services. Role Description
The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining the books of accounts and ensuring the accurate preparation of monthly MIS and quarterly financial reports. This role involves assisting the Chief Accountant with quarterly group financials, managing external audit requirements, and strengthening overall finance governance.

Salary Bracket: Upto 27–28 LPA for niche regulatory/automation expertise
Key Accountabilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Manage the end-to-end month-end closing process for books of accounts.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Conduct daily analysis of Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) movements.
- Perform month-end balance sheet substantiation.
- Maintain the Chart of Accounts for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Assist the Chief Accountant in preparing quarterly group financials.
Controls, Governance & Risk
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for operational risk and financial control-related aspects within the finance department.
- Strengthen finance governance and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Conduct detailed assessments to identify potential financial and reporting risks arising from system limitations or issues.
- Regularly assess and enhance finance control processes, staying aligned with industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of financial control procedures to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by organizing financial records and managing audit inquiries.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with various departments to establish effective communication channels regarding financial controls.
- Interact with internal business units, audit, risk, and operations teams, as well as external parties as needed.
- Provide periodic reporting to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Chartered Accountants (CA/ACCA/CPA) with banking experience is mandatory
- Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in financial services, preferably within the banking sector.

- Internal Controls: Strong understanding of internal controls and the ability to visualize end-to-end business scenarios to design or strengthen control frameworks.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
