Purpose of the Job
• To lead and manage the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and preparation of reports.
• Provide high-quality financial information, analysis, and advice to support informed decision-making by senior leadership.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
• Oversee payroll, tax compliance, receivables, payables, audits, and banking activities while driving continuous improvement and digitalization in financial processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Develop and systematize accurate and timely recording of financial transactions for effective fund management and reporting.
• Establish effective financial reporting systems and conduct periodic internal and external audits to improve internal controls.
• Lead asset management processes, including verification, custody, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind AS, French GAAP, and IFRS in financial reporting.
• Support the organization in statutory, cost, and internal audits, coordinating with external auditors.
• Provide financial insights to assist in group reporting and tax planning activities.
• Actively engage in Board, Audit Committee, and Shareholder meetings on all finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct and guide critical finance & accounting functions including Billing, Revenue & Assurance, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Audit, Cash & Bank transactions, and Fixed Assets.
• Establish workflow controls and drive digital transformation of finance processes.
• Ensure robust financial control environment to safeguard company assets.
• Manage banking operations including collections, payments, working capital, bank guarantees, and LC limits.
• Lead receivable management, enhance collections, and maintain control over outstanding receivables.
• Oversee monthly payroll disbursal and ensure statutory and tax compliance in coordination with HR.
• Support capital assets classification and advise on tariff fixation requirements of AERA.
• Design systems for accounting, payment processes, and asset registers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Develop disposal mechanisms for assets and maintain safe custody practices.
• Prepare financial consolidation reports, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely group reporting.
• Represent Finance in risk management programs, project finance activities, and negotiations with vendors.
• the revenue recognition process to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Review and manage billing cycles, invoicing, collections, and recognition of revenue with accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain revenue policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure end-to-end accuracy in revenue reporting.
Education Qualification & Certifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience: 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity within reputed organizations.
