Job Description:
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with accounting standard sand company policies
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes (internal& statutory)
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports
- Monitor key financial metrics and highlight variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports for leadership review
Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support business teams with cost analysis and profitability insights
- Prepare variance analysis (budget vs actuals) with actionable commentary
- Contribute to financial planning and strategic decision-making
Process & Controls
- Strengthen financial controls and ensure adherence to policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data and provide business insights
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of integrity and ownership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)preferred
- 5-9 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles
- Experience in consulting, services, or mid-sized organizations preferred
- Someone who goes beyond bookkeeping to understand the story behind numbers
- Ability to balance operational discipline with analytical thinking
- A proactive mindset with willingness to learn and improve processes
