Job Summary

The Finance Transformation role is responsible for leading and managing the transformation of the finance function to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic impact. This position involves overseeing the implementation of new financial systems, processes, and strategies to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Transformation Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive finance transformation strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Finance Reviews: Conduct finance reviews and act as the CFO's representative to ensure key Finance KPIs are achieved.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage transformation projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations, including automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Change Management: Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems across the finance function.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Akasa and Finance leadership, to align transformation initiatives with business needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute
  • Engineering background preferred, as the team will extensively work on IT enablement
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are desirable
  • 23 years of post-MBA work experience
