Job Title:Lead Analyst Finance (Investment Banking)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Investment Banking professional to support the execution of M&A and private placement transactions within the technology sector. The role involves deep financial analysis, valuation work, preparation of client-facing materials, and close collaboration with global teams on cross-border transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the origination and execution of M&A and private placement transactions; manage key transaction workstreams efficiently and accurately.

Perform valuation analyses using methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Leveraged Buyout (LBO), Trading Comparables, and Transaction Comparables.

Prepare high-quality marketing and client materials including pitchbooks, valuation materials, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and management presentations.

Develop detailed financial and operating models and perform valuation analysis using Microsoft Excel.

Support the due diligence process, including data analysis and coordination.

Conduct extensive company and industry research, including market trends, M&A activity, and buyer analysis.

Collaborate with global offices to support the origination and execution of cross-border transactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

35 years of relevant work or internship experience within the Transaction / TMC team of an investment bank.

CFA Level I or Level II preferred.

Hands-on experience using Capital IQ (CapIQ) and PitchBook.

Exposure to successful sell-side transactions is strongly preferred.

High attention to detail with strong accuracy in work output.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; proven self-starter.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage tight timelines.

Ability to exercise sound judgment, make informed decisions, and work independently.
