Assistant Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording sales and purchase transactions in Tally with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile B2B and marketplace sales records, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
• Review, verify, and process invoices while coordinating with internal stakeholders for timely approvals.
• Perform vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support smooth accounts payable processes.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, supporting documents, and compliance with internal controls.
• Support GST compliance activities, statutory filings, audits, and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to address accounting, taxation, and operational queries.
• Contribute to month-end closing activities and assist in improving finance processes and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core finance and accounting concepts, including Finance and Financial Statements.
• Experience in Financial Reporting, including preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and support for audits.
• Working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), including compliance, filings, and reconciliations.
• Proven Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Excel and Tally software; experience in retail or e-commerce finance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
