Job Overview:
The Assistant Finance Manager will assist in overseeing the financial processes, ensuring compliance, and managing the P&L of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of finance systems, processes, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure effective financial management.
- Monitor and analyze the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support in cost analysis, inventory valuation, and pricing strategies for pharmaceutical products.
- Work closely with banks, auditors, and tax consultants for financial audits and compliance.
- Implement and maintain ERP and financial software systems to streamline financial operations.
- Assist in financial risk assessment and recommend corrective actions for cost control.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns, GST, and other statutory compliances.
- Support senior management with financial insights and data-driven decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA in Finance / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in finance/accounting, preferably in a pharmaceutical company.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial processes, taxation, and pharma industry finance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, and financial reporting tools.
- Good understanding of P&L management and cost control strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
