Role Objective

Own finance processes end-to-end with a strong focus on automation, data accuracy, and scalability. This role requires a self-starter who has hands-on experience building or using automation tools and who can independently drive tasks from problem identification to solution delivery.

Mandatory Pre-Requisite (Non-Negotiable)

  • Prior hands-on experience using at least one automation tool in a live environment
  • Candidates without direct automation experience should not apply
  • Ability to explain automation use-cases personally implemented (finance or process automation)

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently own and execute finance processes from design to closure
  • Identify manual processes and implement automation solutions end-to-end
  • Drive automation across reconciliations, compliance data preparation, and MIS reporting
  • Take final accountability for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of outputs
  • Design, document, and improve SOPs and control frameworks

Automation, Systems & Transformation

  • Build and maintain automations using tools such as ERP workflows, RPA, Excel automation, APIs, or BI tools
  • Own finance systems, master data, and reporting structures
  • Continuously improve reliability, auditability, and scalability of finance processes
  • Partner with IT or external vendors where required, while retaining ownership

Compliance & Governance

  • Own compliance processes (GST, TDS, statutory) from a data and systems readiness perspective
  • Ensure automation outputs meet regulatory and audit standards
  • Coordinate with consultants and auditors while maintaining internal ownership

Candidate Profile

  • CA / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
  • 38 years of experience in finance operations or finance transformation roles
  • Proven hands-on experience with at least one automation tool (mandatory)
  • Strong ownership mindset; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong finance fundamentals combined with automation and systems thinking

What Makes This Role Different

  • Automation-first finance role, not a traditional accounting position
  • Individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership
  • Clear accountability for building, running, and improving automated finance processes

We are a small team of highly motivated people and want people who have a strong sense of

ownership and passion for what they do. If you are expecting a 9-5 types, very well-defined

structured role - this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a steep learning curve

building innovation in the payment space and are ready to roll up your sleeves to get work done, we

would love to hear from you!
