A reputable Asian Life Insurance organisation with significant business footprints in Asia is urgently looking for an Assistant Manager - Finance Actuarial IFRS 17 person in Singapore. This role sits in Finance and Actuarial team. Please note NO WORK VISA SPONSORHIP is provided, candidates working in the life insurance industry in Singapore is highly preferred.

Main responsibilities : -
- Support the actuarial manager in delivering IFRS 17 project and BAU reporting activities for selected Asia Pacific subsidiaries
- Help IFRS 17 architecture design, methodology documentaton and policy implementation
- Help to support data requirement identificaton, actuarial modelling and develop business requiremen documentation
- Lead the subsidiaries on develop test plans and conduct parallel run.
- Review and conduct analysis of the results.
- Engage and align internal and external stakeholders on the project timeline, risk escalation and explanation of results.
- Help in test planning, UAT, and parallel run execution
- Support consolidation of regional IFRS 17 results
- Help in analyzing key drivers and explaining movements in financial results
- Prepare reporting materials for internal stakeholders
Main requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree and above in Insurance, Actuarial, Business or Finance from a recognised University
- Qualified Actuary from internationally recognized actuarial organizations advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of in the field of life insurance actuarial field in Asia Pacific countries.
- Post-implementation IFRS 17 experience is required.
- Prophet modelling experience i preferred
- Detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task across entities and deliverables with minimal supervision
