Job Summary
We at Accolade Electronics are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join us as Assistant Manager Finance. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, internal financial controls, and commercial evaluations while ensuring statutory compliance. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, process orientation, and business acumen to drive accurate MIS reporting, monitor budget performance, strengthen financial governance, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Preparation and analysis of Monthly MIS reports for management review
- Detailed Budget vs. Actual variance analysis with actionable insights
- Standardization and enhancement of MIS formats and reporting dashboards
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc business reports
- Analysis of key financial metrics and business performance trends
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Monitoring and enforcing approved budget limits across departments
- Monthly review of departmental expenditure against budgets
- Identification of cost variances and recommending corrective measures
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes
3. Internal Financial Controls & SOP Compliance
- Implementation and monitoring of Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
- Ensuring adherence to financial SOPs across departments
- Strengthening internal processes to mitigate financial risks
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly book closure as per defined SOP
4. Accounting & Book Closure
- Overseeing monthly and year-end financial closure activities
- Ledger scrutiny and analysis of revenue and expense patterns
- Ensuring accounting accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely financial data
5. Commercial & Profitability Analysis
- Comparative evaluation of commercial proposals for procurement
- Review and assessment of customer pricing and commercial terms
- Product-wise / project-wise profitability analysis
- Gap analysis and consumption analysis for cost optimization
6. Financial Planning & Strategic Support
- Preparation of CMA data and project reports for banking requirements
- Compilation and submission of data for credit rating processes
- Competitor financial analysis (as required)
- Providing financial insights to support management decisions
7. Treasury & Risk Controls
- Monitoring currency hedge process controls
- Tracking forex exposure and ensuring adherence to internal policies
8. Compliance & Audit
- Monitoring statutory compliance calendar
- Supporting Internal, Statutory, and GST audits
- Ensuring timely submission of financial and regulatory documentation
9. Contracts & Agreements
- Tracking JV/MOU activities and associated financial implications
- Monitoring agreement clauses and ensuring financial safeguards

Educational Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
Experience
- 2 to 6 years of experience
- Experience in manufacturing / electronics / industrial environment preferred
- Hands-on experience in MIS, budgeting, financial analysis, and internal financial controls
