Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall team performance.
- Execute the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet organizational objectives.
- Support the development of sales presentations, proposals, and client pitches.
- Assist in forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
- Contribute to pricing strategy, rate setting, and development of sales policies and procedures.
- Analyze market trends and data to identify new business opportunities.
- Coordinate effectively with Shipping Lines, CHAs, Freight Forwarders, Rail Operators, Exporters, Importers, and other facility users.
- Provide accurate routing and shipment information to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare and submit reports to concerned stakeholders within defined timelines.
- Ensure zero revenue leakage through proper monitoring and controls.
- Improve operational efficiency by delivering timely and high-quality customer service.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction with a focus on minimizing complaints.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety and security policies and oversee on-ground implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, customers, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with customer-level transportation SLAs.
Qualification
- Graduate with a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant business software systems.
- Good knowledge and experience in the same trade/industry domain.
