Role and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall team performance.
  • Execute the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet organizational objectives.
  • Support the development of sales presentations, proposals, and client pitches.
  • Assist in forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, rate setting, and development of sales policies and procedures.
  • Analyze market trends and data to identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate effectively with Shipping Lines, CHAs, Freight Forwarders, Rail Operators, Exporters, Importers, and other facility users.
  • Provide accurate routing and shipment information to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Prepare and submit reports to concerned stakeholders within defined timelines.
  • Ensure zero revenue leakage through proper monitoring and controls.
  • Improve operational efficiency by delivering timely and high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction with a focus on minimizing complaints.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company safety and security policies and oversee on-ground implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, customers, and government authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with customer-level transportation SLAs.

Qualification

  • Graduate with a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant business software systems.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the same trade/industry domain.
