Job Description

Role Overview

This role will bridge the gap between technology and business needs for the Warehouse Management & Demand Forecasting function, serving as the interface for managing IT application development, testing, deployment, and support to end-users. The role will enable the alignment of ERP initiatives with business objectives, driving operational efficiency across warehouse operations, inventory management, demand planning, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Business Delivery for the Function

  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, organizing, implementing solutions, and reporting against plans on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager – ERP to ensure ERP changes required by the Warehouse Management & Demand Forecasting function are prioritized and delivered.
  • Serve as the interface with assigned business units or functional areas to facilitate solution discovery and manage service delivery, risk, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Partner with business leadership and stakeholders to define opportunities, prioritize IT projects/workstreams, and ensure alignment with functional needs.
  • Provide consulting-level support and guidance through key IT initiatives, leveraging technology to build competitive advantage and enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned function (Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning & S&OP).

Process Excellence

  • Conduct business needs analysis and collaborate on mapping technical specifications to develop and implement function-specific solution roadmaps, ensuring successful implementation across the organization.
  • Coordinate the development of robust contingency, risk management, and business continuity plans while overseeing solution/platform utilization, business impact, benefits realization, and resolution of day-to-day operational issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement in IT operations, security, and system performance by proposing, negotiating, and managing IT budgets in accordance with internal procedures to ensure best value and quality.

Technology Expertise

  • Understand functionality, oversee configuration, implementation, and maintain expertise on ERP technologies supporting Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Demonstrate the capability to integrate multiple technologies to build effective business solutions.
  • Partner with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards.
  • Collaborate with end-users and technology partners to develop reporting solutions and automated tools that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct awareness and training programs for new hires and employees to improve adoption and effectiveness of ongoing and new ERP tools and applications.

Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for the Warehouse Management & Demand Forecasting function with business units, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring successful project delivery and effective ERP support.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and consultations with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive consensus on project priorities and requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business users, IT teams, and technology partners by providing guidance, anticipating risks, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Desired Profile

  • Demonstrated exposure to established ERP/CRM systems, preferably with experience in supporting or participating in ERP implementations related to Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain, or S&OP.
  • Solid understanding of ERP concepts and their benefits in enabling warehouse and supply chain operations.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with teams involved in strategic planning, business development, or client management across diverse business functions.
  • Proficient in handling a large user base ranging from approximately 50 to 300 users.
  • Technical proficiency coupled with strong analytical skills to effectively address complex business challenges.
  • Ability to manage project delivery through partners and prioritize initiatives in alignment with senior stakeholders to deliver business value.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify relevant technology solutions and drive adoption of new capabilities.
  • Ability to build trust with business users and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven strategic thinking, planning, and operational execution capabilities.
