Experience / Skills Required
- 10-12 years – at least 4 years in Engineering Project design, planning & execution in Electricals
- Experience in infrastructure projects, especially in Electrical systems
- Experience in MS Project, AutoCAD would be a preferred advantage.
- Knowledge of Indian standards and codes in Electrical, NBC requirements for commercial and industrial building, Factory's Act requirement for industrial facilities.
- Has hands on experience In managing engineering consultants and contractors
- Has good influencing and interpersonal skills
- Design electrical infrastructure according to the USL standards and regulatory codes
- Assist in estimation of electrical infrastructure projects and master planning of sites
- Review the condition of existing electrical systems and provide expert recommendations on required changes/upgradation.
- Manage project execution OTIF with end to end accountability of successful delivery of assigned electrical projects under PGC / L1
- Follow formal change management process for any changes in scope or cost
- Ensure timely progress tracking and reporting
- Review QAP and adherence in all projects for the electrical systems
- Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs for reportees and follow-up for induction/ training delivery through corporate HR
- Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles
- Ensure periodic follow-up with the recruitment team to fill the vacant positions with in stipulated time; in case of deviations escalate it to appropriate authority.
- Hand on experience in Automation- PLC programming, sensors working , VFD programming etc.
Troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation related breakdown.
Implementation of Kaizen.
