A Senior Electrical Engineer is required to oversee all electrical operations and maintenance for a facility.
This role involves managing departmental budgets, controlling maintenance expenses, and ensuring a continuous power supply to all utilities.
You will be responsible for the rigorous implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance to track and maximize equipment uptime.
A key part of the job is the periodical inspection of major electrical equipment, including transformers, HT/LT systems, DG sets, and lifts, ensuring compliance with regulations like the 1956 IE Regulations/CEA-2010.
You will be in charge of all statutory compliances for the electrical department and will coordinate with vendors for timely completion of AMC and ARC contracts.
You will also identify and propose CAPEX needs, coordinate with project teams, and seek business excellence ideas for cost savings and efficiency.
The role includes daily tracking of power consumption, optimizing power utilization, and ensuring all electrical documents, including SOPs, CAPA, and validation documents, are compliant with cGMP standards for audit readiness.
