Responsibilities
Leading electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure uninterrupted power generation and distribution.
- Coordinating with operations and engineering teams to monitor and analyze electrical system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures
- - Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with international and local electrical standards, safety regulations, and Adani's internal policies
- - Managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical assets including transformers, switchgear, motors, and control panels to enhance asset longevity and reliability
- - Collaborating with project teams for electrical designs and modifications, ensuring practical and cost-effective solutions that meet operational requirements.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture through regular training, audits, and hazard identification
- - Driving initiatives related to energy efficiency and sustainability, including evaluating new technologies and processes that reduce energy consumption and environmental impact
- - Preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as electrical schematics, maintenance manuals, and compliance reports
- - Leading and mentoring a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- - Engaging with external vendors and contractors for procurement, service contracts, and ensuring quality standards
- - Supporting audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and internal teams to ensure statutory compliance
- - Utilizing data analytics tools to monitor electrical parameters, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
- Implementing digital transformation initiatives in electrical asset management to enhance reliability and operational transparency.
- Participating actively in cross-functional meetings and contributing to strategic planning and budgeting activities related to electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university. - Master's degree or higher qualification is advantageous.
