Finance Services in India supports Financial Services, Group, Eight Roads and Canada businesses. Core activities for Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Control and Procure to Pay are centralized with an aspiration to accelerate finance for future.
About Your Role
The role of Assistant Manager - ER Finance is based out of Gurgaon. This is a permanent role primarily focusing on the financial controllership of operating, corporate and principal investment entities along with non captive venture fund accounting and reporting as well as oversight of support provided to Eight Roads business finance team.
The purpose of this role is to support the Bermuda and UK based Eight Roads Corporate Accounting team from India in ensuring smooth functioning of the processes in an effective and efficient manner. The candidate will be a valued member of the extended Eight Roads Accounting team and will work closely with members of the Eight Roads Finance. The candidate will develop strong relationships with business partners to meet accounting and reporting requirements and will develop a strong working knowledge of the businesses.
About You
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly financial closing process Manage year end audits and statutory financial statements Manage group and management reportings Handle non captive fund accounting Sound knowledge of various systems CFP/FCCS/E front/JDE/ HFM and Essbase Support smooth migration to new accounting systems CFP/FCCS and facilitate correspoding reporting rebuild process Ensure better integration with Eight Roads business finance team Involvement with venture capital fund accounting on need basis Assistance to Central group control team in preparation of Eight Roads consolidated financial statement note disclosure and handling any adhoc queries. Identify opportunities & implement solutions to internal systems and controls Maintain an elevated level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to enable risk mitigation To be strong contributor for reporting under US GAAP, and Eight Roads internal accounting policies. Effective Co-ordination with the Financial controller based in UK Management and upscaling of team Supporting the Eight Roads Finance team in the transformation and development of efficient finance processes.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required
Technical
Qualified Chartered Accountant with up to 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Finance with exposure to advanced accounting and financial reporting. Thorough understanding of US GAAP/ FRS 102 and proficiency in financial statement analysis Experience in Private Equity Industry is a strong asset. Proven track record of demonstrating process excellence. Strong analytical skills including knowledge of accounting principles; Shows attention to detail and an appetite to dive into issues in depth as needed; Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages Knowledge of Essbase, HFM, CFP, FCCS, E front and JDE would be an advantage. Willingness to work in flexible work schedules based on global time zone requirements.
