Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Manager – Direct Tax, based in Bengaluru South. The Assistant Manager will handle day-to-day direct tax tasks, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, tax audits, tax advisory mandates and addressing inquiries from tax authorities. They will work closely with clients teams to provide guidance on direct tax regulations, conduct thorough tax research, and assist in the resolution of direct tax-related issues. The role also includes reviewing work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• CA witgh 2-4 years post qualification experience
• Knowledge and expertise in Direct Taxation, Tax Compliance, and Tax Audit
• Proficiency in reviewing, preparing, and filing income tax returns
• Skills in conducting thorough Tax Research and Analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with tax authorities and clients
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Experience with taxation software and tools is a plus
