Assistant Manager (Design) - Oufit & Accommodation

The Hull Outfitting (HO)/Furnishing Design Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, 3D modelling, documentation, and production support of HO systems and accommodation system. This role involves close collaboration with OEMs, procurement, inter-design departments, and production teams to ensure seamless execution from concept design to handing over to Customer.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D modelling: Prepare 3D Models for Accommodation (furniture, Equipment, Doors..etc) & Outfitting Items in Cadmatic.
• Basic & detail design: Prepare layouts, arrangement, and detailed drawings along with BOM for Accommodation System & HO systems.
• SOTR & trial documents: Draft specifications and trial documentation.
• OEM & procurement interaction: Evaluate offers, provide technical clearance, and coordinate order placement.
• Inter-department coordination: Collaborate with design teams for model clearances.
• Production support: Provide technical assistance during manufacturing and installation.
